What can you say about a TV Program that launched 38 Years ago, that has generated the highest Audience Ratings in the History of Television in the Middle-East, that launched the careers of dozens of young singers, stars, and performers, and that helped reshape the Music business and upgrade the night life and Entertainment worlds, both in Lebanon and the MENA Region!
They still call it “the Star Maker”!
Since 1972, Studio el Fan has been the program that revealed the majority of Lebanese and Arab stars.
Studio el Fan is a Lebanese talent show broadcast on Télé-Liban during the seventies and eighties (and on LBCI since then) in Lebanon and throughout the Arab world. Like the Olympics, the show runs once every four years for an entire calendar year. The best contestants in the different categories are awarded gold, silver or bronze medals.
Studio el Fan has become over the years, a reputable name in Star making all-over the Middle East, and on television, rare formats have had a similar impact on Arab entertainment, and triggered such huge audience response;
Studio el Fan is credited for being the launching platform for many of today's Lebanese and Arab stars, such as Majida El Roumi, Walid Toufic, Assi el Hallani, Ragheb Alama, Nawal Al Zoghbi, Diana Haddad, Wael Kfoury, Elissa, Rami Ayash, Fares Karam, Ruweidah el Mahrouki; TV Hosts Neshan, Rita Khoury, Michel Azzi, Wissam Breidy, Comedian/Impersonator Bassem Feghali, Comedian Wissam Sabbagh, Composers Marwan Khoury, Jean-Marie Riachi, Imad Shamseddeen, Jad Choueiry, Nicolas Saadeh Nakhleh, musicians Charbel Rouhana, Richard Salfiti, Ronny Barrak, Designer Zuhair Murad, Models/TV Presenters Perla Chlela and Annabella Hilal, Oriental dancer Elissar, and many other creatives, cartoonists, photographers, belly dancers, TV Directors... etc.
It has also inspired a number of Programs and Reality Shows that built their basic ideas and formats upon parts of Studio el Fan; like Mission Fashion, Project Fashion, Hezzy Ya Nawa3em, the Manager, etc;
Studio el Fan went on with an increasing success, from 1972 till 2002, and delivered many generations of fabulous talents, while other similar programs failed;
Last session alone has produced singers-performers like Myriam Fares, Sara el Hani, Ayman Zbeeb, Dareen Hadchiti, Layla Iskandar, and many more.
But since then, nothing.
For about seven years, nothing has ever grown in the Lebanese talents’ environment, leaving the ground wide open for other countries to introduce their newly born talents on the Arab scene;
Therefore, and since the local and Pan Arab appeal generated by Studio el Fan was present more than ever among the audiences, the “Star Maker” had to come back and once again discover a new generation of fine talents in many a field: Classical Lebanese Songs, Arabic Tarab Songs, Popular Songs, Oriental Dance, Comedy and Monologue, TV hosting, and Poetry;
After 28 Weeks, 61 gold medalists are now ready to be launched on the Market, along with many Silver and Bronze medalists who have already started their careers, each with a couple of songs, which received great recognition among the local and regional audiences;

Very simple.
A Double Bill.
Either simultaneous seasons in more than an Arab Country, since many countries have expressed their desire to launch new generations of Local artists.
Or a Pan Arab Season, on a leading regional Satellite Television Channel, and featuring contestants from the Gulf Area, Egypt, North Africa, the Levant, Iraq (and even Mauritania, or Sudan), where all these audiences will have their say in choosing their new idols.
